WHAT IS THE LOOK SWIMWEAR BIKINI CONTEST:
Due to the high volume of submissions, the staff at Look Swimwear have decided to extend the contest from 12 Rounds to 16 Rounds. Each round will last 2 weeks.
There will be one winner per round. Winners will be decided by votes. The entrant that receives the most votes will be named winner of that round and be enrolled into the semi finals.
Contestants that fall short of winning their round, but had considerable votes will be entered into Round 17, the "Viewer's Choice" Round. 24 of the top vote getters will be entered in this one round playoff where 8 will move onto the semi-finals.
The semi-finals will consist of two rounds of 12 contestants. The top two vote getters will move on to the finals.
The finals winner will be announced Xmas week.
WHAT CAN I WIN?
Winners of each round (16) will receive $75 gift voucher.
Viewer’s Choice winners (8) receive a $50 voucher.
Semi Final winners (4) will each receive $150.00 cash and a $50.00 gift voucher.
Finals winner (1) will receive a contract worth over $1000.00 to shoot for the 2010 Look Swimwear Catalogue, be featured on the home page of Lookswimwear.com, and receive their own Look Swimwear model page on our site, along with future projects for Look Swimwear.Winners of each round will receive $75 gift voucher.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO ENTER?
Well, to start you need a Look Swimwear bikini. You’ll then need someone to shoot you in the bikini. And finally, you need to send them in to us. It’s that simple.
DON’T HAVE A LOOK SWIMWEAR BIKINI?
Well buy one. We offer everything from sexy Brazilian bikinis to minimal coverage Thong Bikinis so we are sure you can find something you would look great in!
DON’T HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER?
Contact our Talent and Coordinating Department. We have amazing photographers all over the country shooting for the contest. We can introduce you to them. Just email Madison at Madison@lookswimwear.com
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Models must be over 18 years of age.
Contestants must be wearing Look Swimwear Bikinis, no exceptions. Submission of photos wearing any other swimwear will be void and deleted immediately.
Professional & Semi-Pro models and Photographers are allowed to enter the contest.
Images submitted for the bikini contest will be used for, and only for the Look Swimwear bikini contest. Look Swimwear will not used these images for any other purpose than the contest. Image rights will be retained by the submitting photographer.
By submitting pictures and/or other material to Look Swimwear you acknowledge and accept that you are the legal owner of the rights to said images. Any and all legal responsibilities will lye with said submitting persons.
Look Swimwear reserves the right to reject submissions without further explanation. Pictures that are not used will be deleted.

WHAT KIND OF PHOTOS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Photos should be sexy, seductive, hot, steamy, anything that is going to raise temperature and blood pressure. This is a bikini contest. We want confident sexy entrants that represent what our company is all about.
Please be sure to shoot the front and back of the suits. The back is just as important as the front, so don’t forget to get at least 3-4 shots of the back.
We would also strongly suggest shooting at least 10 shots wet. This is swimwear, and obviously swimwear can and will get wet.
Playboy style photos are accepted with the condition that the suit is tied into the shot and they are tastefully shot. Any material that is deemed to be x-rated will not be accepted.
IN DOOR vs OUT DOOR
Outdoor and indoor shots are accepted. Outdoor shots at the beach or pool are preferred, but not mandatory. If you choose to shoot indoor, please shoot indoor locations, not studio. Example of indoor locations would be interiors of homes, warehouse, office, ect. Backdrop, manufactured studio shots will not be accepted.
HOW DO I SUBMIT MY PHOTOS?
Either you or your photographer can submit your shots for your submission. When you are ready to submit your photos please email contest@lookswimwear.com for more info.
HOW MANY PICS DO I NEED TO SEND IN?
Please, submit 20 or more shots. We will be using 16 for the submission. Images should be no smaller than 1000X1500 pixels (8”x12” @150dpi). Vertical images are preferred as the submissions will all be vertical 8”x12” ratio. Please, email your submission to contest@lookswimwear.com. Please, break emails into 5mb each.
RETOUCH OR RAW?
You can choose to retouch your images, but we have staff retouchers that can handle your submission. We would prefer raw shots, but understand that some photographers prefer to retouch themselves. If you chose to retouch yourself, please refrain from shifting from natural color or skin retouching that looks plastic and unreal.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SEND IN MY SHOTS?
You will receive a confirmation when we receive your shots in the form of an email.
If your submission is accepted, you will receive notification 2 weeks prior to your round’s commencement. We do not have prior knowledge before this 2 weeks period so please do not email us to re-confirm we got the shots or to ask when you will be entered into the contest. We promise that once the 2 week notice comes you will be notified promptly.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I FIND OUT I’M IN THE NEXT ROUND?
You will receive a horizontal and vertical web banner to help you promote your submission, along with a video that you can post on your social sites or your own website.
We will be sending an email asking for a short paragraph with where you took your pictures, what suit and sizes you wore, and something about the bikini and if you endorse Look Swimwear Bikinis. If you shot with a photographer, please include their email and link so we can give due credit.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I WIN?
We will contact you so we can send you your prize. For cash awards we will obtain your mailing address to send you a check.
